Overview

For use on ISI's universal QST2002-PLUS Analyzer, we offer optional QuadPole Magnet configurations to apply both High and Side (Longitudinal) magnetic fields for HGA and HSA applications.

As a user-installable upgrade on any QST2002-PLUS Analyzer, two optional QuadPole Magnet configurations are available.  The HGA QuadPole Magnet Option utilizes a manually-adjusted mounting platform, ideal for testing HGAs.  The AutoZ QuadPole Magnet Option utilizes the same physical magnet as the HGA QuadPole Magnet, but is instead mounted onto an automated Z stage making it ideal for testing either HGAs or HSAs.

Compared to the single axis 1500 Oe Magnet installed on the QST2002-PLUS Analyzers as standard, both versions of this QuadPole Magnet Option allow software control of dual field axes in Longitudinal or Transverse orientation, including full field rotation, with field magnitudes as high as 3500 Oe.

Key Benefits

  • Field upgradeable on QST2002-PLUS

  • Provides software control of High or Side Fields

  • Versions available for either HGA or HGA/HSA applications

  • Fully integrated with our software, power supplies, and test platform
